Primary Duties |
1. Supports employment function data management services, including data collection, entry, tabulation, calculation and reporting. Compile and distribute reports to management upon request. Performs other data services related to tracking and measuring progress on employment activities. Tracks various employment-related statistics and reports bi-weekly.
2. Collaborates with hiring manager/supervisor and recruiters to help resolve a variety of recruitment-related issues. Facilitates flow of information between hiring manager and recruiters pertaining to timely posting, advertising, interviewing and hiring of qualified applicants. Recommends workable solutions to work-related problems. May partner with the recruiter and hiring managers to develop and implement employee staffing plans.
3. In partnership with the Recruiter reviews and screens incoming applications/resumes. Conducts behavioral-based telephone and/or in-person interview, as needed. Coordinates applicant testing and forwards applications/resumes to manager for review.
4. In partnership with the Recruiter, as required, contacts hiring manager/supervisor to develop and implement effective, position-specific recruitment strategies. Conducts necessary research to identify most appropriate, cost-effective means of advertising and develops ad copy, as necessary.
5. In partnership with the Recruiter represents EvergreenHealth at external events including job fairs, etc. Provides information to interested parties regarding recruitment policies, processes and timelines. Serves as resource person to employees, applicants and the general public in answering employment–related inquiries, including those regarding specific job postings. Cultivates positive working relationships with all client groups.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED for the position:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; equivalent relevant education/experience
· 2 years of Human Resources experience (preferably in the areas of recruitment)
· 1 year of administrative or office support experience
· Analytical ability and accurate keyboarding skills
· Demonstrates effective customer service with strong interpersonal skills
· Sensitivity to and knowledge of various ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic groups
· Ability to organize, plan and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail while managing multiple complex projects and priorities to successfully meet deadlines and demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
· Effective written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to work cooperatively with a wide variety of employees, physicians, volunteers, management and public relations
