Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Primary Care & Occupational Health
Job Overview
We are seeking a strong, experienced Primary Care Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting 13-week contract at the Truist Richmond Health Center in Richmond, VA. In this versatile role, you will provide critical clinical and administrative support in an outpatient/occupational health clinic setting. If you are highly organized, proficient in phlebotomy, and comfortable wearing multiple hats, we want you on our team!
Position Details
- Location: Richmond, VA (Zip Code: 23224)
- Pay Range: $51.85 – $61.00 / hour (Pre-tax) | Estimated $2,440.00 / week
- Expected Start Date: July 13, 2026
- Duration: 13-week assignment (with potential to extend)
- Schedule: Days, 40 hours weekly
- Hours: Monday – Thursday (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM) & Fridays (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
- No weekends!
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Partner closely with the Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide excellent patient care, including administering immunizations, performing EKGs, assisting with Pap smears, and checking vital signs.
- Lab Management: Perform phlebotomy (blood draws), conduct point-of-care lab tests, and process laboratory specimens.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the reception area by greeting patients, answering phone calls, checking patients in/out, and collecting payments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Current, strong experience in a Primary Care or Occupational Health setting.
- Technical Skills: Must be highly proficient in Epic EHR, phlebotomy, and point-of-care lab specimen processing (candidates without these specific skills will not be considered).
- Licensure: Valid Virginia (VA) or Compact RN license in good standing.
