Location: Townsend, MT
Facility / Client: Billings Clinic Broadwater
Position Type: Contract / Travel Assignment (Accepts Local Contractors)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Expected Start: August 3, 2026 – October 31, 2026)
Schedule: 40 hours per week | Days
Estimated Pay: $1,392.69 – $1,638.46 / week (Weekly Direct Deposit)
Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Medical Assistant (MA) to join the ambulatory care team at Billings Clinic Broadwater in Townsend, MT. In this role, you will deliver essential clinical and administrative support to primary care providers, helping deliver high-quality, compassionate care to the Broadwater County community. Training is available for the right candidate!
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Intake & Vitals: Room patients, measure and record vital signs, document medical histories, and prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
- Provider Support: Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with routine outpatient examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
- Clinical Tasks: Perform routine lab tests, specimen collections, blood draws, and medication/immunization administration as directed.
- Clinic Operations: Sanitize exam rooms between visits, restock medical supplies, and assist with care coordination and patient follow-ups.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certified / Registered Medical Assistant or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Current BLS (CPR) Certification.
- Primary care or ambulatory/outpatient clinic experience preferred, but training is available.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
