Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Lead – Behavioral Health | Oshkosh, WI
Location: Oshkosh, WI
Shift / Hours: Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12-Hour Shifts (36 hours/week)
Assignment Duration: 16 Weeks
Pay Range: $1,820.06 – $2,141.25 per week
Position Summary We are seeking a Lead Registered Nurse (RN) in Behavioral Health for a 16-week assignment in Oshkosh, WI. In this role, you will apply a bio-psychosocial and recovery model as the foundation for nursing practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs. As a nursing lead, you will coordinate and direct care, supervise delegated nursing activities, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to assigned patients and supervise delegated nursing activities across the unit.
- Provide clinical leadership to nursing staff by planning, directing, and coordinating patient care and daily unit operations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care and learning plans.
- Partner with the Unit Manager to ensure unit programs, facility policies, and department work rules are consistently followed.
- Serve as a clinical resource and consultant for complex patient cases.
- Assess learning needs for self, staff, and patients, and oversee the unit nursing staff competency evaluation process.
