Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg
Location: Torrance, CA
Weekly Pay: $1,901.88 – $2,237.50 / week
Assignment Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: 3x12 Nights (36 hours/week)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Med/Surg Registered Nurse for an 8-week travel assignment at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA. The ideal candidate will provide direct, comprehensive care to a diverse adult patient population managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical-surgical conditions, including pre- and post-operative care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments, develop plan of care, and evaluate outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and treatment plans.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Med/Surg experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility.
- Licensure: Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Certifications:
- AHA BLS Certification
- NIHSS Certification
- MAB or CPI Certification
- LA City Fire and Life Safety Card
- Compliance: Must complete LA County Employee Health Clearance and Live Scan fingerprinting prior to assignment start date.
