Job Title: Medical Assistant (MA) – Billings, MT
Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) for a 13-week temp-to-hire assignment in Billings, MT. Working within an outpatient family medicine clinic setting, this role supports providers across two daily patient sessions (up to 20 patients per day) to deliver quality care to a diverse community. Both local and travel candidates are encouraged to apply.
Position Details
- Location: Billings, MT
- Schedule: 5x8s, Day Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Expected Start Date: 9/7/2026
- Pay Range: $28.97 – $34.08 / hour
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient rooming, vital sign collection, and thorough medical history documentation.
- Conduct point-of-care testing and outreach for population health programs.
- Prepare examination rooms, maintain supply inventories, and sanitize instruments and equipment.
- Support providers with charting, care coordination, scheduling, and patient referrals.
- Adapt quickly to a fast-paced clinical setting with a compassionate, team-oriented approach.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience required; background in family medicine, primary care, outpatient clinics, or community health centers preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Certifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred, though non-certified candidates with solid, consistent clinical experience will be considered.
- Strong adaptability to step into a high-volume team environment and ramp up quickly.
