Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Mobile Clinic

Location: Downey, CA (Los Angeles County)

Position Type: Contract / Travel

Shift: Day Shift | Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Weekly Hours: 40 Hours per week

Pay Range: $28-30 per hour

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a contract with a mobile clinic operating in Los Angeles County. In this role, you will deliver essential primary and preventive healthcare services directly to vulnerable populations, including community members experiencing homelessness. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical intakes, patient health screenings, and routine assessments.
  • Perform blood draws, phlebotomy, and standard outpatient lab work.
  • Administer medications and clinical treatments as ordered by care providers.
  • Support mobile clinic daily operations and patient flow in community settings.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and uphold strict care standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent LVN experience working with homeless or underserved community populations. Outpatient/clinic experience required.
  • Licensure: Active California LVN License in good standing.
  • Certifications: Active BLS required. IV Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
  • Skills: Strong communication, clinical intake, and phlebotomy skills.
