Location: Townsend, MT
Facility / Client: Billings Clinic Broadwater
Position Type: Travel / Contract Assignment (Accepts Local Contractors)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Expected Start: August 3, 2026 – October 31, 2026)
Schedule: 40 hours per week | Days
Estimated Pay: $1,613.56 – $1,898.31 / week (Weekly Direct Deposit)
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated LPN / LVN for a 13-week contract assignment at Billings Clinic Broadwater in Townsend, MT. In this role, you will join a supportive ambulatory care team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to residents of Broadwater County. This is a great opportunity for an LPN looking to work in an outpatient setting while enjoying the rural charm and quality of life in Montana.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Ambulatory Care: Provide nursing care and clinical support to patients of all ages in an outpatient/primary care clinic setting.
- Patient Intake & Triage: Assist with patient rooming, gathering vital signs, taking medical histories, and preparing patients for provider examinations.
- Clinical Procedures & Support: Administer medications, immunizations, and prescribed treatments; assist clinic providers during minor outpatient procedures.
- Care Coordination & Communication: Communicate routine test results, patient care instructions, and follow-up plans under provider direction.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient records within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Qualifications & Requirements
- License: Active LPN or LVN License in the State of Montana (or compact/NLC equivalent).
- Certifications: Current BLS (CPR) Certification.
- Experience: Primary care or ambulatory/outpatient clinic experience preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
- Attributes: Strong clinical judgement, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered mindset.

- Housing: Housing is not provided; candidates must secure local accommodations in or near Townsend, MT.
- Timekeeping: Paper timecards are used at this facility and submitted weekly to NuWest Payroll.
