Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Nurse Navigator
Location: Glasgow, MT
Weekly Pay: $1,975.79 – $2,324.46 / week
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 5x8 Days (40 hours/week)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Navigator for a 13-week travel assignment at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow, MT. The Nurse Navigator will guide patients and their families through complex healthcare systems, ensuring seamless care coordination, effective communication, and access to necessary clinical and community resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Care Coordination: Manage patient appointments, diagnostic testing, follow-up care, and specialist referrals to optimize treatment timelines.
- Patient & Family Education: Clearly explain diagnoses, care plans, treatment options, and expectations to empower patients in their decision-making.
- Resource Facilitation: Connect patients and families with essential community and hospital support services, including counseling, financial assistance, and transportation options.
- Multidisciplinary Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between patients, families, physicians, and clinical teams to streamline continuity of care.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of recent clinical nursing experience with demonstrated strength in patient advocacy, care coordination, or navigation.
- Licensure: Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact/Multi-State RN License.
- Certifications:
- AHA BLS Certification
- Skills: Excellent communication, strong organizational abilities, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
