Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Juvenile Corrections
Location: Sylmar, CA
Shift: 5x8 Days
Pay Range: $1,832.81 – $2,156.25 per week
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a 16-week travel assignment in Sylmar, CA. This position involves working within a locked forensic facility caring for juvenile inmate patients dealing with mood, anxiety, and behavioral conditions.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a juvenile correctional facility setting.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Correctional RN (inpatient experience) required.
- Minimum 2 years of Psych experience required (Pediatric Psych experience is a plus).
- Comfortable working alongside law enforcement in a locked forensic environment.
- Must be committed to working 5x8 day shifts for the entire 16-week contract (no block scheduling offered).
- Certifications: Active CA RN License, AHA BLS, MAB or CPI, and LA City Fire & Life Safety card.
- Completion of LA County Employee Health Clearance required prior to start.
