Job Title: Medical Assistant (MA) – Billings, MT
Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) for a 13-week temp-to-hire opportunity in Billings, MT. This position works within an outpatient clinic environment, serving a diverse community and supporting providers through two daily patient sessions (up to 20 patients daily). Both local and travel candidates are welcome to apply.
Position Details
- Location: Billings, MT
- Schedule: 5x8s, Day Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Expected Start Date: 9/7/2026
- Pay Range: $26.78 – $30.00 / hour
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient rooming, vital sign collection, and medical history documentation.
- Perform point-of-care testing and outreach for population health initiatives.
- Prepare examination rooms, maintain supplies, and sanitize equipment.
- Assist providers with scheduling, charting, and care coordination/referrals.
- Maintain a compassionate, team-oriented approach when working with underserved patient populations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience required; outpatient, primary care, or community health center experience preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred, but uncertified candidates with solid experience will be considered.
- Consistent work history with strong adaptability to new clinical environments.
