Position Type: Travel / Contract Assignment
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Expected Start: 8/3/2026 – 10/31/2026)
Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
Estimated Pay: $1,728.81 – $2,033.90 / week (Weekly Direct Deposit)
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN/LVN for a 13-week travel assignment in Billings, MT. Working within the Skilled Nursing Cottages at St. John's United, you will provide high-quality direct nursing care, promoting safety, comfort, and resident well-being in a supportive care environment.
Schedule & Shift Details
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week (Rotating 2-week schedule)
- Shifts: Mix of Days (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and Evenings (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to residents in a long-term care / sub-acute setting.
- Administer medications and perform treatments according to care plans and physician directives.
- Monitor, observe, and document resident health statuses and report changes to the clinical supervisor or interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintain complete and accurate clinical medical records.
- Assist with resident admissions, care planning, and daily living support while upholding resident dignity and independence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active LPN or LVN license in the State of Montana (or an active Compact/NLC equivalent).
- Current BLS (CPR) Certification.
- Prior experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Long-Term Care (LTC), or Rehabilitation preferred.

Housing & Additional Notes
- Housing: Travel/housing is not provided directly; candidates are responsible for securing local accommodations in the Billings area for the duration of the assignment.
- Timekeeping: Paper timecards are utilized for this facility and submitted weekly to NuWest Payroll.
