Position Details
- Role: Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
- Location: Kent, WA (Maleng Regional Justice Center - MRJC BUPE Team / King County Public Health Jail)
- Job Type: Contract / Assignment
- Pay Rate: $26.00 / hour ($1,040.00 weekly pre-tax)
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours/week. Must be flexible on start/end times and days of the week, including weekends. May require rotating through days, evenings, and nights.
Job Summary Provide basic medical care and daily living assistance to inmates within a correctional facility, supporting nursing staff and healthcare providers on the Buprenorphine (BUPE) treatment team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist nurses and medical providers with patient care and clinic workflow.
- Deliver basic medical care and assist inmates with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Support Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) clinical operations for individuals receiving Buprenorphine.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensure: Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Washington State.
- Certifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of CNA experience in acute care and Buprenorphine (BUPE) long-acting injection MAT programs. Inpatient or corrections experience strongly preferred.
- Location: Must be a local candidate.
- Clearance: Must pass background check and fingerprinting (process takes up to 10 weeks prior to start date).
