Member Transportation Specialist – North Seattle, WA
Location: North Seattle, WA
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Range: $25.36 – $29.83 / hour
Shift / Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (with rotating Saturdays, 6:00 AM – 11:30 AM)
Position Overview
Join our team at We Care Daily Clinics (WCDC) in North Seattle as a Member Transportation Specialist! WCDC is dedicated to restoring hope and purpose for individuals battling opioid use by removing barriers, providing holistic recovery services, and offering compassionate, evidence-based care.
In this role, you will do much more than drive—you will foster positive relationships, provide safe and respectful transit for members between clinic and mobile unit locations, and support patients on their pathway to recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Transportation & Safety:
- Transport members safely, punctually, and respectfully to and from clinics, mobile units, and approved locations.
- Assist members with entering and exiting vehicles, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and clinic transportation schedules.
- Supportive Member Engagement:
- Greet patients with warmth, empathy, and respect to help build a safe, welcoming environment.
- Address member inquiries professionally and collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams.
- Operations & Administration:
- Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain precise mileage logs, route records, and interaction notes.
- Assist with general clinic operational tasks (e.g., administrative support or local deliveries) as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education & Certifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Current or attainable First Aid and CPR certification.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to road safety.
- Compassionate communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (including Microsoft Office).
- Adaptability and strong multi-tasking abilities.
- Preferred Experience:
- 1+ years of professional driving or customer service experience.
- Background in healthcare, recovery settings, or working with diverse populations is a plus.
